We are seeking a Windows Systems Administrator, 1-5+ Yrs Exp, Training Available

Junior SA Role (1-4 years exp)
Involves basic troubleshooting, server upgrades, and hardware failure management. Support includes, but is not limited to:
Server down – Initial troubleshooting / resolution to return server to service. Outage may require firmware upgrades or may be due to a hardware failure. In the event of hardware failure, determine warranty status and correctly manage to repair. If due to a network or facility issue, coordinate to transfer issue to applicable team for resolution.
Printer support – Create/modify/remove print queues; update drivers; connect to printers via URL to configure IP/Subnet/Gateway or to assist in printer relocation as needed when local support is not available.
Drive space – Own/manage OS drive space issues to ensure enough space is available to perform defragmentation. Provide courtesy data drive space usage reports, using tools provided, to business leads when requested. Businesses are responsible for data drive space management.
Basic troubleshooting – Server support up to the application layer; iLO support / firmware upgrades; Service Pack upgrades; DHCP support
Disaster Recovery (DR) – Perform DR rebuilds/re-imaging when needed. Coordinate with backup/storage/application teams as needed
Senior SA Role (5+ years exp)
Involves troubleshooting / Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for areas including, but not limited to:
Active Directory (AD) related issues – DNS zone issues; Sites/Subnets review; Verify if AD issue is within scope identified by IT Risk team. If not, refer issue to IT Risk AD workgroup.
Microsoft (MS) Clustering issues – Verify issue is not due to non-Cluster aware software installations; troubleshoot heartbeat, quorum, cluster services, cluster resource issues. Engage, and work with, MS when needed.
Hardware – Take over for junior team for out of warranty servers where site involvement is needed to engage OEM or 3rd party hardware support team. Own/manage/track to repair.
Advanced server support – Own server issues outside of, or not resolvable by the junior team skill sets
Client support – Provide recommendations for configuration or other improvements to the environment server support
Previous experience with the above tasks as a systems administrator at the junior or senior level
Must be comfortable working in teams
